• ★ 2“In all honesty this place was really underwhelming. We were quite excited before coming - it had been recommended to us and we'd spotted things on the menu we liked the sound of. We turned up at 1.15pm for lunch on a Sunday, we're seated promptly and orders taken for drinks and food. Then began the long, long wait. It took them 10 minutes on average for each round of drinks - the drinks in question being bottled water, bottled ice tea, and draft beer. It took them 45 minutes to bring some slices of toast with smoked eels and salmon mousse on top - surely the toppings were all ready to go and ”
