“We had made a reservation in advance, but unfortunately our booking was not in their system when we arrived. Despite this, the staff were very accommodating and managed to find us a table on the terrace, which we really appreciated. As the restaurant was quite busy, we had to wait a little before being served, which was understandable. One suggestion for improvement would be to bring out the drinks and cocktails first, followed by the food. That way, guests at least have something to enjoy while waiting for their meals. “This restaurant is almost perfect. My fiancée and I ate here twice during our four day trip to Amsterdam. We called for a reservation twice, but were weirdly seated in the most awkward seating available (shoulder to shoulder with other people). If the seating at this restaurant was more spaced out and thoughtful I would not have taken a star from my review. The steak tartare and sourdough bread was great. Our entrees were excellent and dessert was good. Service was nice.”

“Such a cozy and atmospheric place — the terrace is amazing, cocktails are delicious, and the whole vibe is just wow. The food was spectacularly delicious. The only small thing was that some dishes were a bit cold, almost like they had waited their turn before being served, but honestly everything was still very tasty. And the potatoes were unreal. Sometimes it felt like the waiters were a bit too busy and a few small requests got forgotten, but overall the experience was really lovely.”
